Synapse Residencies place Australian artists into science and
research settings to pursue collaborative projects with benefits
accruing to both the resident and the host organisation.
In its second year of operation, ANAT called for expressions of interest from science organisations within Australia interested in hosting an artist for a three-month period. The call then went out for artists to apply to be resident within the selected host organisations. Two residencies were supported:
Gregory Pryor - at the Division of Sustainable Ecosystems, CSIRO (WA)
Rachel Peachey & Paul Mosig - at the Department of Archeology and Natural History, Australian National University (ACT)
Delivered in partnership with the Australia Council for the Arts
