Tamara Rewse (Writer/Performer/Puppeteer) has worked as a Director, Devisor, Maker and Performer in Puppet and Visual Theatre, touring internationally and nationally. Her work includes; Human Layer, 2005 Fringe Melbourne Festival (Most Visionary) 2006 Adelaide Fringe, Men of Steel, toured internationally to Edinburgh, Dublin, China, Hong Kong, 1 month at London’s SOHO theatre, New Zealand and Singapore, COOP, for Black Hole Theatre, 2007 & 2008 seasons at 45 Downstairs and is one of Australia’s most talented burgeoning puppeteers. She has just completed a new project for Arena Theatre Company, Mr. Freezy and in December she will present a Morbid Porn at the Arts Centre Fairfax studio. Soon she undertakes a residency in Berlin for a new installation project called Tuckerbag. Skїte Vikingr is a company committed to further experimentation and development of puppetry and visual theatre. Directed by Tamara Rewse, the traditions of the form are close to the hearts of Skїte Vikingr while dissecting current processes to find new and relevant ways to create non text based theatre. Skїte Vikingr is a band of warriors on form; cross pollinating, creating new trade routes and languages, bombing the boundaries that exist with plenty of fertile fodder.
