Sebastian Tomczak_
Sebastian Tomczak is a music technologist, performer and composer based in Adelaide. He is a tutor at the Electronic Music Unit, Adelaide University, and is doing a PhD.
Sebastian has presented a number of papers at various
national conferences and will be presenting at the International Computer Music Conference 2008.
He has a keen interest in hardware and software development in regards to physical computing for use in musical performance and unique control methods. Individuals across the globe have built and learned from his musical inventions including his water-surface music instrument, The Toriton. Additionally, he has a keen interest in the role of technology in the music making process. He has focused his research on hardware hacking, chip music and the construction of performance instruments and devices.
