With 64% of Australian households having internet access, and now more broadband connections than dial up ; and a recent MTV survey in 12 Asian countries finding 77 per cent of people aged between 15 and 24 had illegally downloaded music in the past month, while 59 per cent had also made legitimate purchases , is copyright in its current form becoming irrelevant?

What can creators of digital content both artistic and commercial do to protect their rights, income and intellectual property?

•    Is the current concept of copyright dead?
